After all, samurai art is our passion and we want to share it with the world.

About The armor:

It Comes with certificate of SupeinNihonto.

Beautiful armor from early edo period (1600-1700) with red lacquered maedate, in an almost pristine state of preservation despite its more than 300 years old. A piece worthy of the best museums. The quality and detail undoubtedly belonged to a daimyo or samurai of high rank. The colors of the ito in eggplant color are very rare because the dyeing was expensive. The lacquer of the do is incredibly well preserved and has authentic bear hair on the underside. The armor is complete and all its parts form one whole. Carved bone pieces such as anchors for the do or the beautiful red flame maedate complete this work of art. Masterpiece for the best samurai collections.

The armour has gilded details that show the quality of the piece. The incredible workmanship accentuates such ornate pieces as the kabuto, the mempo and the Do. The stand to assemble it and the box are included. This armour is sure to delight any collector of Asian art and will be the focal point of any visitor’s home, shop or office.
