Beautiful long Nihonto Wakizashi in an excellent mount. Koshirae complete and matched with silver elements both the kojiri of the saya and the Fuchi kashira of the tsuka. Uncommon and high quality design. The spiral work on the saya with black lacquer is not only high quality, but also unique. The finish and precision of the workmanship in the making of this saya is something out of the ordinary. The blade is in a wonderful state of preservation as it dates from the middle of the 16th century. A great piece of the best quality to add to any collection.
