Full Samurai Armor Set — Edo Period (Circa 18th)
This complete Edo-period samurai armor is a stunning example of martial craftsmanship, distinguished by its dark elegance, robust construction, and ceremonial flair. The lacquered black dō is laced with deep blue cords, paired with thickly fur-trimmed kusazuri. The haidate features a unique checkerboard pattern alternating green fabric and embossed gilt plates — a rare and desirable aesthetic among collectors.
The suji bachi kabuto helmet, crowned with a bold double crescent maedate, commands presence. The ressei menpō mask beneath bears a fierce expression with a bristled mustache, protecting the face while imbuing a sense of character.
This armor strikes a balance between battlefield utility and high-ranking ceremonial display.
