Beautiful sword of the muromachi period with a great style thanks to the handachi style koshirae that has extra elements such as the large kashira (kabutogane), ashikana, semegane, etc.. Apparently the sayagiri is missing. The sword also has a dragon-shaped horimono. These carvings were unusual because of the extra cost but they look very nice on the sword and were used as protection and strength for the warrior, being common dragons, fudoo (gods), Buddhist protection symbols, etc. The tsuba and other elements have been decorated with gold inlays and other materials. The blade is in very good condition and maintains a very good polish.

Blade is in very good condition due to aging. Not hagire and not fatal damage, of course. This is a japanese weapon so have a real historical value. This is a weapon with centuries, not machine crafted so can be minor movements of saya, tsuka, tsuba, etc. Because of dilatation, humidity, etc. and little damages propers of his age like small rust, scratches, etc.
