A very humorous and well carved netsuke of a monkey wrestling with an octopus. Contains red, yellow and black polychromy in the drawings on the jacket. Eyes inlayed with black buffalo horn. Signed “Matsuyama” with red inlay. Meiji period. Comes with certificate CITES document.
