3) Blade — technical description

Long wakizashi, almost katana size. Shinogi-zukuri wakizashi with slender silhouette and moderate curvature consistent with the registered dimensions. Medium kissaki. The hamon is a classic and elegant suguha with beautiful and sober jihada. The polish is in very good condition due the ages.


4) Koshirae — technical description

Saya
High-quality carved wooden saya lacquered to imitate braided cord texture in relief. Strong sculptural textile effect. Prominent kaerizuno. Retains handwritten label. Metal fittings in bronze.

Tsuka
Green tsuka-ito over samegawa, evenly wrapped.

Menuki
Relief dragon menuki, decorative and well-modeled, warm-toned bronce with gold inlay.

Fuchi
Figurative relief depicting an ox and a man with an ox, narrative style in bronze.

Kashira

Relief motifs shaped as tadpoles, a playful but traditional decorative theme. Bronze.

Tsuba
Mokkō-gata tsuba of dark metal with gold-toned inlays/applications and flowing line motifs. Seppa present.

The tosogu set is materially and aesthetically coherent, dominated by bronze and warm tones. This is a functional and visually distinctive koshirae intended for mounting and display rather than mere storage.
