Beautiful wakizashi from Muromachi era circa XV th. with a very attractive naginata naoshi style with a small Bohi and an expressive and well visible hamon that will delight any fan no doubt. With more than 500 years in almost perfect condition. It is accompanied by an original edo period fuchi with a shakudo fuchi with the symbol of the family samurai clan (mon) and a buffalo horn kashira. Beautiful iron tsuba with carved and inlaid work of a sacred turtle (kame) a Japanese mythological being of good fortune, in copper with gold inlay still visible. The jihada, the hamon and the almost perfect tempering make it a small jewel of samurai history.

The blade is in old japanese polish remaining in good condition, the jihada of the steel is detailed and full of details to appreciate. A masterpiece Worthly a museum and a great addition to any private collection.
