Beautiful Nihonto Wakizashi katana “Kai Mihara” in shirasaya with NBTHK Tokobetsu kicho in superb condition from late muromachi period. With a beautiful hamon well visible and a very elegant jihada. The sword comes in a high quality shirasaya with buffalo horn elements, a mount used to protect the blade after the fights that preserved the sword better than the classic koshirae. That is why the swords preserved in shirasaya are usually found in better condition. A beautiful good quality sword in very good condition, ideal for novice collectors and amateurs who want to start their collection or get an authentic samurai sword without investing a lot of money.
