Beautiful sword in elegant and beautiful koshirae signed Yamashito Daijo Fujiwara Kunikane, a great and reputed 17th century smith with a high value in the Toko Taikan. The koshirae has a nice color combination with a red saya finished with a copper kojiri. The tsuba is a great piece of craftsmanship with pheasant motifs among vegetation. The blade is in very good condition despite its centuries, with a nice hamon that stands out visibly and only some signs of old rust in the area of the kissaki.
