Spectacular katana massive long form Edo period (circa 1800) with 75,6 cm of cutting edge in shirasaya with a nice hamon well visible and a beautiful pattern of jihada. Its really uncommon to see a massive blade with this length. Heavy and thick. Interesting elements of study. The sword is in excellent condition given its age. The sword is in shirasaya, a classic mount where the blades are kept after combat in a specific Japanese wood to protect it from moisture and other elements, so the swords that have been preserved in this type of mounts, usually are in a great state of preservation. A great opportunity to get an original samurai sword.
