Thanks to a constant work directly with the best collectors, museums and galleries in Japan and friendship with them, along with a profit margin much lower than the European competition we can offer objects so that many people can choose to have authentic pieces with hundreds of years at more than competitive prices. After all, samurai art is our passion and we want to share it with the world.

About The armor:

Includes the box and mounting structure. Comes with Supein Nihonto Certificate.

The armor is in good condition although it is a very old object it has normal damage. An authentic piece of samurai art that will delight any place where it is exhibited. Nice armor from the Early Edo period although there may be earlier pieces or later ones. With armor, as with samurai swords, were very expensive objects that passed from generation to generation between families, and even some parts of old family armor were adapted to new armor to take advantage of them and as a symbol of the family.

The armor retains a nice patina, with several old repairs as usual in this kind of armor of several centuries old and retains all its elements except the hanpo or menpo, although this element was not always common in the intermediate armor so it is possible that it never had it. The armor retains the family clan symbol on the skirt or haidate. These symbols had to be recognizable in battle to know who your allies and enemies were.

The armour has gilded details that show the quality of the piece. The incredible workmanship accentuates such ornate pieces as the kabuto, the hanpo and the Do. The stand to assemble it and the box are included. This armour is sure to delight any collector of Asian art and will be the focal point of any visitor’s home, shop or office. There is a very ancient object and there are fabrics damaged by time and tears. Due to the delicacy of continuous assembly and disassembly, returns are not allowed on old armor.
