Thanks to a constant work directly with the best collectors, museums and galleries in Japan and friendship with them, along with a profit margin much lower than the European competition we can offer objects so that many people can choose to have authentic pieces with hundreds of years at more than competitive prices. After all, samurai art is our passion and we want to share it with the world.

About The armor:

Gusoku flame maedate includes the box and mounting structure. Beautiful complete samurai armor from azuxhi momoyama or early Edo period (1550-1650)  with all its elements: Kabuto, menpo, Do, Kote, Haidate, Sode and suneate. Beautiful armor with a great contrast that is also in very good condition given its age and use.

The armor stands out for its large red maedate and its beautiful contrast with blue cords, reddish-brown lacquer and unusual appearance. The armor is very well made which indicates that it was for a samurai of high rank or with a great solvency. Both the strings and the lacquer are in very good condition considering its hundreds of years of age. It was found in a large house in Japan and belonged to a family with samurai heritage in the prefecture of Gifu. This beautiful armour has the classic navy blue cordage, a colour that in Japan is identified with victory on the battlefield.

An authentic samurai armor that will be the central focus of any room where it is placed and that will delight any fan of Japanese art. A great stylish piece that will impress anywhere.
