About The armor:
Gusoku Edo period Oni Maedate. This armor includes the box and mounting structure. Samurai armor gusoku of the late 18th century. This armor is a classic example of mid – late Edo period armor with all its elements. Demon (Oni) motifs were common to instill fear in opponents and it was common to adorn the helmets with demon maedates. The armor is in a good state of preservation given its age although it has some laces in the area where the do and the Kusazuri join.
There is a very ancient object. Due to the delicacy of continuous assembly and disassembly, returns are not allowed on old armor.
