About The armor:

Classical armour from the Edo period matched. All parts are original and matched from early to mid Edo period so its a very antique armor weared by authentic samurais, something rare in the market due to its age. The armour has a beautiful and remarkable combination of black lacquer elegance and blue cordage that stands out. It also retains interesting elements such as the orange laces on the chest, the belt (later) and gold patterns on the bottom of the skirt, something that only had superior quality armor because the cost of adding the gold used to be very expensive. The armour has a kabuto zunari with maedate, do, suneate and the rest of the components. This is an antique armour with some battle and transport damage, as most of the armours we sell at Supein Nihonto are completely original from the Edo period and not the classic replicas from the taisho, showa and later periods which although decorative, do not have the historical value nor were they worn by authentic samurais.
Includes its box for transport and exhibition and a stand to assemble the armor.
As is normal in a suit of armor with so much history, which was undoubtedly used for combat and is not a mere reproduction of the 20th century, it has some superficial scratches, surface damage and chips that show that it had a long life of combat and retains an authentic and precious historical value worthy of a museum.
