Let's talk about the Hamon<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The <\/span>Hamon<\/span><\/a> is the pattern we see on the edge of the blade of any Nihonto (\u65e5\u672c\u5200)<\/a><\/span> and it is not merely aesthetic, but is due to the differential tempering with clay<\/strong> applied to weapons in the forging process. Japanese katanas are unique<\/strong> in a way by him forging process<\/strong>, where apart from the materials the system is tremendously laborious. The following spring there was another war. Again the soldiers returned, only this time all the swords were intact and the emperor smiled at Amakuni.<\/span>
Although it is impossible to determine who invented the technique, surviving blades from Yasutsuna around AD 749\u2013811 suggest that, at the very least, Yasutsuna helped establish the tradition of differentially hardening blades.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Vamos a ver algunos ejemplos y tipos:<\/span><\/p>

Suguha<\/strong>: El hamon es recto. Existen diferentes variaciones seg\u00fan el grosor del Hamon como Hiro-suguha<\/em> que indica una gran anchura, el suguha medio y el suguha Hoso-suguha<\/em> o suguha delgado.<\/span>
Este tipo de Hamon es uno de los m\u00e1s antiguos<\/strong> y es muy com\u00fan en la \u00e9poca Muromachi<\/strong>, ya que en el Edo, sobre todo a mediados y finales se optaba por la belleza y la espectacularidad de otros Hamon m\u00e1s art\u00edsticos. Aunque sea recto es muy dif\u00edcil conseguir una l\u00ednea recta perfecta, sobre todo en las espadas de los periodos m\u00e1s antiguos. Aun si sigue siendo de los m\u00e1s utilizados hoy en d\u00eda.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Midare:<\/strong> El midare es un patr\u00f3n m\u00e1s art\u00edstico con matices irregulares de olas, de nuevo existe una clasificaci\u00f3n parecida dependiendo del grosor de \u00e9ste. Tambi\u00e9n es un patr\u00f3n muy antiguo. La Famosa escuela Ko-Bizen<\/em> (S. XII-XIII) es muy famoso por su hamon Ko-midare.<\/em><\/span><\/p>

Gunome:<\/strong> Este patr\u00f3n se caracteriza por movimientos en Zig-Zag<\/em>. Es m\u00e1s visual y tal vez m\u00e1s espectacular que el resto, aunque hay diversas variantes donde se mezclan con Suguha<\/em>, por ejemplo.<\/span><\/p>

Notare:<\/strong> El notare tiene alg\u00fan parecido con el Midare, pero las olas en este caso son m\u00e1s regulares y siguen m\u00e1s o menos el mismo movimiento.<\/span><\/p>

M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de \u00e9stos tenemos diferentes combinaciones entre ellos como hemos dicho y otros tipos como el Hitatsura, Tobi-Yaki, Choji<\/em>, etc. Los nombrados son los m\u00e1s comunes y antiguos. Cada escuela adem\u00e1s perfeccionaba y modificaba sus propios Hamon<\/strong> haciendo que se puedan datar y situar espadas dependiendo de sus Hamon caracter\u00edsticos<\/span>.
